Jojo Wickens is a nail professional and educator with an illustrious career spanning over two decades in the nail industry.

Jojo worked in various salons before going freelance in 2011. Starting with a mobile service, she moved in to her own studio a matter of months later due to high client demand.  After building her own clientele and constantly turning potential clients away, Jojo started to expand taking on other nail techs to work within her studio, before opening a high street nail salon in 2017.

Jojo’s journey with Light Elegance began eight years ago, which was a transformative discovery after developing allergies to many gel and acrylic products. Recognising the brand's innovative products that eliminate known allergens, she swiftly embraced Light Elegance and, within a year, ascended to the role of Educator, sharing her expertise with numerous nail professionals and educators both in the UK and internationally.

In 2023, Jojo embarked on a new venture, joining forces with her friend and fellow Light Elegance Educator, Leila Monroy, to take on the distribution of Light Elegance products in the UK.  Alongside this, she also became the LEU Dean of Students, helping students to gain their LEU Bachelor Degree.

Jojo's talent and dedication have garnered her widespread acclaim, evidenced by her competition achievements, including top 3 placements in UK Competitions and winning 3 Scratch Stars awards. She gained the titles of Gel Polish Stylist of the Year in 2015 and Gel Tech of The Year in 2017 and 2019.

Jojo has now stepped back from client work to focus on her roles as LEU Dean of Students and Co-Owner of Light Elegance UK Distribution, alongside her own series of Masterclasses to help other nail technicians.
